London embassy

Hey guys, just a quick question. We started our visa process in january, and got our letter from nvc that our approved petition had been sent to london embassy on may 11th. However, my fiance has yet to receive anything from them and tomorrow will be 7 weeks. Is anyone else in the same boat, or experienced something similar? We wanna be sure they have received everything

I don't know how it works in England but in Sweden you receive an email. They send this email to the email address they were given which is usually the petitioner's. My now husband, the USC, was the one who received my email from the embassy, he just forwarded it to me. Important to check spam folders etc too.

Appreciate the reply, we have both been checking our emails and spam folders regularly. The ceac site still says in transit

Aha, I figured it would say Ready by now, my mistake. I guess the only thing you can do at this point is contacting NVC and the embassy, it's in between there somewhere since it still says in transit.

Please try and contact NVC. Because I read the other people cases that individual suppose to schedule interview with their embassy about fiance visa case, after NVC complete case. By filling i-160form online.

As I recall once we had NOA2 and then saw online that it had arrived at NVC my fiancee (now wife) called NVC (after 2-3 days) and they were able to give her the reference numbers that I needed to kick things off in London (medical appointment etc). I think we probably got something later in the mail, or as email, I don't recall. This was back in 2015, so not sure if things have changed.
