Hi, I filed AOS from B2 in Texas and my priority date is Nov 29th, 2016. My case is stock on "ready to be schedule for interview" for more than 3 months now. I have called USCIS twice and the respond is thesame: Dallas office is overwhelmed by a huge number of cases and currently 5 months behind. So, I am creating this forum for all Dallas Texas AOS filers with priority dates from October to December 2016, so that we can keep track of our case progress and console each other through this long complicated process

Yea... :/ The waiting time when you have to have an interview is roughly a year, been for a while... it sucks, but at least ppl will have their EAD/APs to hold them over..

Wish you all good luck! and I might be popping in to get to know the Dallas peeps :P

Thank you for the encouragement. I can see from your timeline that you were approved pretty fast without an interview. What's the secret?

Well I came on a K1 visa - so no secret to share unfortunately...

Many K1s are waived interview at aos stage since there was a very recent interview at the overseas consulate..

You will have your green card sooner than you think... time does fly :)
