Interview Office processing applications past my case date?

Hi, my AOS case is scheduled for interview as of Nov 25th 2016, and my case date, application registered, is in June 2016. 

The Houston field office last update states that of April 30th 2017 they're processing cases of June 14th 2016. 

 

Doesn't it make sense that they should be far past my case date by now?  Or am I misunderstanding the system?
