Hey all :) 

 

I don't know if I have posted this in the right area, but I was wondering if any nurses have moved to America and continued the profession? I am hoping to do so, I am a qualified degree trained nurse in the UK. I am aware that I have to apply to my state board of nursing and having a credential service check my transcripts and then I can apply to take the NCLEX. I was wondering if anyone has gone through the same process and how you have found the transition?

Not personally, there is a Nurse Forum forget what it is called.

 

My understanding, somebody I know did, is that the UK training misses a few subjects that they needed to do to meet US qualifications.
