I don't know. Has anyone released Trump's tax returns? Last I heard he had lied about releasing them. Has he changed his story or the lie still stands?

Not really a priority for me (tax returns).  I realize we need to re-ignite this topic since the whole Russian collusion narrative is fizzling, but unless the government passes a law to make everyone's tax returns public information, I could not care less.  Yes, other candidates have released theirs for political reasons, but why would Trump release his now, he was already elected without releasing them.

Why would a man ever shave or shower after the wedding night? Presumably because he is in an ongoing relationship.

To keep his promises and to win the respect of the rest if the country.  That is part of the job, you are always auditiong to prove your worth as a leader. When the public repects you, you have more  currency for your agenda.

Getting elected is not the end, it is the start.  He is already in campaign mode for 2020 and he hasn't really shown am intetest in the current job.  His reputation is so bad that Mitch asked him to stay in the truck while he tried to get healthcare over the finish line.

He lies, he goes back on his promises with little moral dilemma , he blames others, he is not consistent even in his rhetoric, he telegraphs his mood to the world every morning, he does not stand behind his folks when the chips are down, he publically belittles key people close to him, he picks fights for no reason.

Why does he even want the job?

So tell me what President in the past doesn't fit this bill?  The only difference is the constant media attacks from the biased media and the unending caterwauling from the folks that keep saying his election was illegitimate.  So we keep getting a revolving door of narratives.

I cannot think of a modern president that comes close to this level of personal dysfunction. Even Nixon at his worst respected the office (enough to lie and cheat but it was because he wanted to be prez. I dont think Trump wants the job, he is in love with the idea of being president and not doing the work.

There is no analog to Trump in US presidential history. You can blame the msm and leftists for tearing him down if you want...but there is something not right about the man.

There were a lot of pundits on both sides that said the same thing about President Obama.  Opinions are just that.

Trump needs to stop giving them ammunition then. He brings it all on himself, he won't shut up, he won't get off on Twitter, he belittles anyone who disagrees with him. He certainly has no respect for the office of the presidency. He acts like a petulant child and has made relations with our allies around the world untenable.

He needs to get his head down and do the job he was elected for. Why last night he was campaigning already for the 2020 election with no significant legislative victories was bizarre. Just goes to show his insecurity.

I don't disagree with that as I have been on the record many times as hating Twitter, but it is insincere to say this is all Trump's doing.  Sure he occasionally gives them (the biased media) ammunition, but considering their track record I can understand his reactions sometimes.  I keep hearing how no president has showed the disprespect for the office as Trump has, and there is no doubt he is not what would be considered a typical politician, but no president has had to endure the constant barrage of narrative after narrative coming from the press.  Just get to it, issue articles of impeachment since he isn't respecting the office, and be done with it.

Trump is doing the tweets...we have to quit blaming the press. He has a press office, an entourage of media, can be interviewed anytine he wants. He does not need to tweet, he wants to.

It is Trump and his administration who dictates the narrative. They're the ones in charge, they're running the country. He needs to ignore the criticism and get on with it. He's has Russia hanging over his head but he's not the first President in history to have a controversy. It's his approach to it, he works on the principle of it's us vs them. He takes any criticism very personal where the media are just doing their job in ensuring they're holding the administration accountable. Trump sees this as an attack on him personally where it is not, he's just not mature and responsible enough for the Presidency.

Yes the media is just doing their job.  That is a laugh.  How many retractions and possible lawsuits are in the works for the media just doing their job.  Trump hasn't done anything different than any other past president has done at some point or other, yet it is wrong for him according to the press (visa restrictions etc.).  As to the narratives, how has the Trump Administration dictated the whole Russian collusion narrative.  No matter what they do, or what comes out as to a lack of investigation of Trump himself, we keep hearing how he is a traitor.  How would you respond at being constantly called a traitor?

Obama had the whole birth certificate issue thrown at him for years. Did you see him take it personally from the right wing media on a daily basis to the extent Trump is doing now with Russia?
