What letter did you receive? Is it a letter to process and gather evidence of bonafide marriage to remove conditional status?
CR1 will change to IR1. CR1 is conditional status for 2 years as a permanent resident. IR1 is permanent resident but good for 10 years/renewable and you can apply for a USA citizenship and enjoy the benefits as a US citizen.
