After I-130 is approved, case is sent to National Visa Center, NVC.

As soon as the NVC receives a case they assign a case number to it and will inform you with the case number and prehaps next steps.  NVC can take 60 or more days to notify you of your NVC case number.  Please make sure to check your mailing address.  It is better to call NVC 2-3 months after your case is completed by USCIS, and register an email address with them.  NVC will be sending correspondences to email address you provide. NVC@1-603-334-0700.

Steps to follow will be explained in the Welcome Letter from NVC once the application is ready for further processing.

Expect to pay $120 + $325 in the next steps with NVC and fill out DS-260 for your husband.

Under normal circumstances, Cases for Spouse-Visa take 9-18 months based on experiences mentioned in this forum.

Any different between  NVC and TX service center  is? Because my case sent to TSC about 1 week after they received my I 130 on May 30th. Will my case take longer than normal process since I live out of U. S and we both live together?

Thanks

I  not clear on what stage you are at... Sounds like you are at the first stage where you have been notified that your I130 has been accepted into the system... NOA 1... and sent for adjudication at the TSC. You have 4 to 6 months before you will hear that it is approved ...NOA 2... at which time it will then be sent to the NVC for the next stage as outlined by Mutahir.

If you fill in your timeline that will help people to best respond to you questions.

If you are not yet really familiar with the process, it would be good to read the USCIS documents to help you to know what is happening and to help you prepare.

as outlined before ,the overseas consular processing will take 12 months approx but could be longer if you are asked for further information or related in the system for things like background checks. 12 months assumes your paperwork us complete first time and you get it in quickly once the approved I130 is sent to the NVC

Fill in your timeline and you will see an estimate if when you might see the approval if the petition, which is then sent to the NVC

Oh ok Thanks hopefully sooner than 12 months tho. Would you think I should go to USA a few weeks before my husband pass the interview and reafy for flight?
