Quick (ish) backstory for context

Born in U.S, mother was from England. She met the Dad, got married, had me, then 18months after, she got divorced and we both moved back to GB.

Went traveling, met the lady in Oz and after leaving saw family in America. Dad offers me a job, i now live in the states.

So I've only really been here since February and haven't got any bank history? So I'd have to get a sponsor, my dad's company is fine but can be bumpy at times. I need to try and convince him to sponsor my fiance, or alternatively get my grandma to.

I feel like he would feel mighty uncomfortable about it all, and my grandma would find it mentally straining?

I do think I have more chance in getting grandma to do it rather than my dad though, so what would I tell her it involves? How often do they check everything, what excatly do they need and does a sponsor actually have to give the petitioner money to support them?. Obviously she doesn't have an income, but wealthy enough I'm sure. Not sure if a retirement fund counts as income, but her assets would be good enough to cover it?

I might possibly be able to get my dad to put down his house as an asset if it's as simple as that, or I do believe he said he could put the house in my name, but basically, what I'm asking, is could someone explainlikeimfive, what to tell  either one of them what the procedure is, and what options I have.

I went to the USCIS office today and feel completely overwhelmed, I tried asking a handful of questions and he basically told me to look online.

Kinda scary having the future of my relationship hang with a family member, but maybe I'm being overdramatic. I just need to know exactly what to say to my family to give me a hope in this working.

What direction should I take?

What happens long term for the sponsors?

Does it involve alot of work to be the sponsor?

Basically, if someone could be so kind, help!

Apologies for not being to structured with the comment/question, I haven't got a clue what I'm doing
