We've read the USCIS documents but you know how confusing those can be.

We got married on August 2016, and are planning to travel to Asia (Vietnam and Philippines) in November, 2017. We believe this should be ok, but just wanted to make sure in case we've overlooked something.

She's a green card holder (got it a month ago)

Thanks in advance!

There will be no problem for a Green card holder re-entering the USA so long as your not outside of the USA for a length of time (generally 6 months or more) which would be considered to be an abandonment of her greencard.   A vacation to Asia is FINE.   That said as a Greencard holder she does not gain any special privileges to get into any country that her original passport would require her to get a VISA for.  So for instance if you were planning to go to Japan and she holds a Philippines passport your USA passport grants you visa free entry to Japan, her as a GC holder would still need a Japan Visa in her Philippines passport.   Probably not an issue for where you are going. .  If you are headed back to her home country of the Philippines than she will have a slight advantage on exit from the Philippines in that she will not need to pay Philipppines travel tax if she goes to the Travel tax counter and asks for an exemption and presents her GC.  Further you'll want to bring a copy of your marriage certificate and of course her passport to show to Philippines immigration on exit.

Ok, long answer to a short question... The short answer is NO PROBLEM  :-)
