My fiance and I received our visa 5 months and 4 days after the initial filing. His interview was April 4. He was called a week later to come and pick up his visa. There is a lot of red flag talk on the mena forum. We did not have any red-flags except that we had known each other less than a year. I met him 5 months after initially meeting online. We decided to do an engagement party on my next visit two months later. We are the same age. Both divorce with child/children. Had been divorced at least 4 1/2 years prior. He is employed. I never sent him money. We had plenty of proof of relationship. He spoke english fluently. Had prior visas. Had never been arrested, he he. His name is not the normal name, that surely helped us with security clearance.

Congrats. My fiance also had his interview on April 4 in Lagos, Nigeria and was approved. he picked up his visa on April 11. Can't wait to receive him at the airport in two weeks.
