I mailed the AOS packet along with all supporting documents on April 28 but up to now when I check CEAC for status update it still shows this... when I checked tracking of my mail it was received more than a month ago. I'm not sure if I need to call NVC or just wait for case status to be updated?

Did you send the packet via registered mail such as fedex that offers next day delivery where you can track the packet via tracking number.  When dealing with government agencies it is always the best way to go because if they loose your packet you have proof that someone at the agency signed for it.  If you did regular mail then you need to resend a new packet and this time send via fedex.

This is a generic notice that stays there until you get your CC. That said, have you by any chance called NVC and confirmed that they have received your package? If not, give them a call and confirm it and get your scan date.

I had this very same notice for 2 months until we got our CC and the notice changed to "at NVC".

Good luck!

Thank you! I have not called NVC but on the usps tracking it says signed and received. I will call first thing tomorrow, hopefully we get approved soon. Tomorrow it will also exactly be 2 months after we sent as and iv packet.

Did you get a mail or email that your case has been completed? or does the status just change to case complete when you check CEAC? And how do they inform you about interview date?

Priority mail via usps last time I checked the tracking number (about a week after mailing) it says signed and received. But I will make sure to call first thing tomorrow. Hopefully they do have it and it will be case complete soon!
