Congrats on your interview,, maybe one day we will be lucky

Thanks. I really hope this is an indication that they are starting to pick up the work. My interview notice came about 13 months since I applied and I've been inline for interview since mid June 2017. Yours will come soon!

I think it will get better. Their processing time recently changed from 13-18 months to 10.5-17 months. Your PD is definitely within the period of making a legit service request to force action. The posted case inquiry date is January 22, 2017. I suggest you put some pressure on them through service requests, congressman, talking to Tier2, etc.

To those interested in the Montgomery field office ...

My wife had her interview today and the officer recommended approval of her N0400/citizenship.  They are scheduling oath ceremonies about a month after the citizenship interview.  I spoke to one of the officers: they hold ceremonies on two different days during the week, twice a day.  About 100-120 new citizens pass through these ceremonies a week.  The office is getting experienced and faster.

Yours truly,

Jerry
