I recommend calling and asking to speak to a tier 2 officer (if you haven't already).  The customer service who answer the phone give limited details (basically what you can get off the website) and don't provide much help beyond that.  A tier 2 have always been able to tell me more details about my case and where it was in the process.

Every processing center has different time lines and unfortunately Texas and especially  Nebraska and behind but don't pay much attention to the website dates...they don't update them enough.

Hang in there :)

The teir 2 officer told me my case can take 12, 18, 24 or 36 months because there is no such a thing as a normal processing time.  He wasn't helpful at all.  I have spoken to 4 teir 2 officers and none of them were helpful.

As far as website dates let me give you a quick story.  I submitted an i130 and an i129f k3.  My 129f k3 was received on February 5th ok.  On August 16, the website was updated showing the tsc which is where my case is being processed is working on cases submitted on February 1st.  I waited until last week (September 15th) and called them.  They told me they are working on cases submitted on February 1st.  I told the agent this update was on August 16 and it's been a month now so i am sure in a month they have worked on some cases and probably are passed the cases submitted on February 5th.  The agent said no they update the data once a month.  I told him i understand but when they update the data later this month they will probably say they are working on cases submitted in March and he said probably.  So i told him so you don't think they have processed my case? And he said no looool.  Waste of time

They just tell you something so you can get off the phone.  Promise after a promise.

You are probably right

but the guy who told me my case was with a adjudicator was very nice from the moment i started talking to him

he also said i could submit a service request but i messed up and i told him since it was with a adjudicator no service request needed

i am pretty sure people from Muslim countries are getting scrutinized .. This administration is racist against Muslims it was made very clear during the campaign and from time to time by our president...

I tried submitting a inquiry two nights ago and it didnt allow me. Last night I was again working fulltime on this website lol I spend so much time on it reading. So I went again on the app and I was able to submit an inquiry which told me I should  except a reply by oct 10th. My case has been with Nebraska  unfortunately for the past 6 months going on 7th. Most likely they will tell me that I am in the time frame which is a freaking headache and stress.

how did you submit a inquiry .. which APP ?

In may when I called them which I just did out of fun because at that time my case was with Nebraska for 2 months. So I spoke to a tier 2 and she told me that usually takes up to 6 months. She said usually people  receive it in 4-5 months of waiting. So now that I am in 6 months almost 7. I still have to wait most likely 3 more months and even probably then they will say something.

Even if it's 3 years, they will tell you something.  I really think the Trump's adminstration is making the process longer than it usually takes

Oct 10th - supreme court hears the travel ban case again

just hope they dont reinstate it

I read an article saying the hearing will be October 10, but the decision will be made in the spring of 2018.  Trump in the mean time is drafting a new executive order that's more strict than his first and will include more countries.

I am applying for my wife so as doses are excluded, then i am good.

Someone needs to reminder Trump that all of or i should say most of the terrorist attacks in Europe are done by citizens of those nations not immigrants.  But i don't think he cares.  If it's up to him, he would kick out all the races and only leave white people in this country

Here is the source on the Supreme Court estimate when they will make a decision:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelbobelian/2017/06/26/three-supreme-court-justices-tip-their-hand-in-support-of-trumps-travel-ban-in-preliminary-ruling/#b835a7c1208f

October 10th is when the Supreme Court will begin the hearing.  But they also mentioned that come September 24th, the 90 day ban will end since it was in effect June 24th, but they are thinking there will be an extension of the refined version which the Supreme Court temporarily passed.

As far as Trump drafting a new Executive order, here is a link:

I knew racism existed in the USA and everywhere in the World, but I had no idea it was this bad in the USA.  Oh well
