N-400 Newark Field Office

Hi everyone.

My wife apply for her citizen on March 06, her Noah1 was on march 11 and got her FP done on March 20. She when In Line For interview On April 07.As you can see everything went very fast and without any kind of setback Until that point. Her office is Newark Nj. We have read all the topics of all the months but we do not see references about the waiting time in the office of newark, In the uscis page we see that they are working with August 22 2016 We would like to know the experience of the applicants who have also been through the newark office and especially the time they waited after being in line for the interview???

Hi there, my field office is Newark as well. As you saw on USCIS website, as of April 30th, they are processing  August 22 2016 applicants; however, right now we are in June, so I assume they have made some progress and moved past August 2016 applicants. I also noticed that some of November/December applicants have been recently approved by the Newark office.  Hang in there it appears to be a pretty busy office; it looks like the whole process might take 6-8 months if all goes well.

We were placed "In line for interview" in April as well and received an interview appointment Letter in mid June.

Newark office is making some progress! Looks like as of May 31st 2017, Newark office is processing September 27, 2016 applications.
