I went to the embassy last week in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico for a TN visa renewal at the Monterrey ASC, they took the usual documents, passport, degree, IFE copies and my offer letter, all they asked was who's my employee, they took a photo of me, my fingerprints, they took my passport and told me that the visa should arrive through DHL in 5 to 10 business days, she gave me a piece of paper to visit this website, today I was shocked in horror to read this

Don't sweat it. It could be like that for a few hours or a few days. There's a small chance it could take longer than that, but not if you don't have any red flags on your profile.

There are young men from the middle east that wait YEARS to clear that step, but everyone goes through it for some period of time. Odds are, you're fine.

Impossible to be specific, usually the longer time spans are for those from T countries.

Well they told me that I need a followup interview at the consulate in Monterrey, turns out that they needed the support letter instead of the offer letter, now the DS 160 status is "Issued" the interviewer told me that my visa got approved and the website now gave me a DHL tracking number

However, now my concern is that for this DHL tracking number both the origin and destination is Monterrey, so my passport never left the country? Aren't the visas printed and stamped on the passport in the US? Should I be worried about this?
