Yes.

that would need a new

  • AOS
  • Employment letter from your new employer
  • new paystubs

I would also suggest you carry all the old financial documents submitted to the NVC.

You could mention to the CO that your petitioner has switched jobs only when asked. that should not be an issue unless you meet the poverty guidelines.

On the wet signatures on AOS - there has been a lengthy discussion on this.Since you are going to have a new AOS , I would SUGGEST carry the signed copy to your interview. It is better to be safe.

As this question is not related to India alone - you could post it on to

This would help you get as many wise suggestions. Good Luck!

In order to get a clarification on this I called NVC this morning. Spoke to a very nice rep named Heather. She told me that ink signatures are no longer required and directed me to this link :https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/news/ink-signature-no-longer-required-on-affidavits-of-support.html

So here is a situation I am dealing with this morning. I called the consulate in New Delhi  because my husband kept bugging me that we don't have an appointment letter and only have a appointment confirmation page that we received in the email. So the backstory is that my case was approved for expedite and it was immediately sent to the consular. After it was transitioned I received an email from NVC that my case is now ready for an interview. I called the consular in New Delhi and the rep I spoke to said that I can schedule the interview online which I went ahead and did. I received a confirmation in the email and we used that to schedule my husbands medical. I called the consular this morning just clear my husbands doubt and the rep I spoke to said that since I never received a notification from the consular to schedule our interview the interview I scheduled for the 14th might not even be valid. He gave me an email address and told me to send an email asking if I should wait to receive a notification for the consular or if our interview that we already scheduled will be valid. Now I have to wait for 24 hours to get  a response which will probably be Monday now. Beyond frustrated at this point............

Hello has anyone over here had any experience with manually scheduling an interview once file was transitioned to the consulate?

it's my understand the embassy schedules them.  when looking on the spreadsheet others posted generally within 3-10 days u get an interview date.  I hope this helps..i don't know your exact circumstances😊

Was your case expedited?

Yes it was, if u wait on the embassy to book the interview then u Will be waiting for months. I made the appointment for biometrics and interview. They email a confirmation letter and that Works for the medical and biometrics. When u go get the medical done just take the ds 260 confirmation letter and tell them u had ur case expedited. you should be fine ! :)
