Hello

Anyone in this group is subject to employment based green card.My NVC,  IV fees deducted from the account..

I was wondering how long will it take to get a receipt and to add a family member in my application.

Also what will be the process after that....?

Any help is appreciated.

Not applying for employment based visa .. but NVC is having issues in their website.. In my case fees was not cleared for 3 week... they say they are working on fixing it .. but god knows how long it will take to be fixed.. just check NVC site regularly( that you must be doing )

Hi

Is there any specific document we need to carry to the local PSK to show the PCC is for US immigration?

In my case. they only asked for my passport photocopy.. nothing else...

but it is advised to bring NOA2 copy. if you have welcome letter than bring that as well.

also you will get the appointment confirmation letter when you book your appointment in PSK for PCC. bring copy of it with you...

Hello,

I am also trying to get the PCC done from Pune. I have lived more than 6 months in Vellore, Kolhapur and Pune. Does this mean I need to get PCC from all these places ? Confused. Kindly guide me.

Do you have address proof for the Pune location ?

 - if yes go and get it done from the Pune PSK.

Six month rule is for multiple country and not the city within the country.. check NVC website for more reference...    https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/IN.html

Exactly what I did! I checked the website and saw my AOS info went missing (which is what happens when you are CC), called and got the CC, called the next day and lucked out -- they had us scheduled already! :dancing:

Congrats -- now you have time to get prepared! Wishing you all the best -- may you bring home the approval! :star:

Oh wow! So you are heading to India and then to US? Safe travels and try to get some rest -- it is a long journey and I tend to be awake for 32-34 hours straight each time I travel to India and back.

Ok everyone I need your expert advise: for anyone who interviewed at Mumbai Embassy..

How long did it take to get your visa?

Did it get couriered or did u pick it up from the embassy?

....asking because our interview is just before Diwali (1 day before) and wondering if that will cause any delays.  Because of other reasons I am forced to book our return flight (s) before our interview so.. wondering just how long I should give.  2 weeks is enough??

I know anything can happen at the interview but..i am just assuming everything will go as planned.  Worst case is.. I have to return and book him another flight at a later date... thank you all for your response😊

Yes I did.  We are on the 18th of October and they close the 19th and 20th (Thursday/friday) so they won't open again until the 23rd.  Was planning to return on the 1st of November.  So that gives us only 8 days.  I may delay until the 3rd or 4th😊 just to give a little extra time
