Can someone please share the link where we can pay the immigration fee before POE. The one provided by the CO upon visa approval doesn't seem to be working. I tried www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis

but nothing works

I paid it on US travel docs and it worked.

Ok everyone... this is long but this is what i know so far:

The RFE was for my daughter's proof of lawful US employment (she is a citizen).  She was listed on my tax return as my child, but she also filed a tax return last year for the first time since she was employed part time at mc donalds.  So they wanted to see her lawful employment in the usa.

When I called the nvc office the lady that answered also agreed that this was an awful RFE since my daughter's employment is irrelevant to our case as she is not a sponsor, or anyway involved, other than I claimed her as a dependent on my taxes.  The lady also stated that ultimately it was the case workers choice whether or not to request this document, and that I should mail her birth certificate as soon as possible (it was sent overnight express mail today.  They will recieve by noon tomorrow.) BUT..that I should also contact a supervisor and request either an expedited review of the document, or ask them to "remove the conditions" and continue the case closed because this document is a non-issue.  I will call and talk to a supervisor as soon as the document has been scanned.  I could attempt to call them now and get the document request removed.. but I think I might have better luck after the birth certificate is available to the supervisor.  Then they can choose to add it or not..their choice.

Hopefully this can be resolved quickly😊.  Maybe 1 or 2 weeks maximum I think. I feel better now anyway, especially after I was able to contact a very helpful NVC operator who was very willing to explain everything to me.  She was extremely helpful.

New Delhi folks, has anyone had their medical appointment at the Max Med Center recently?

My husband called the Max Med Center (Telephone: +91 8860444888) to make his appointment today (yes, he clarified it was for a spousal visa medical), he was told his appointment was made and that he would be going to the Lajpat Nagar location and not the Panchsheel Park location? The Max staff member also mentioned that he would be seeing an American doctor there.

I was under the impression that there were two approved physicians for medical in New Delhi according to the https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Medical/NWD - New Delhi.pdf -- what gives?

Max panchsheel is no longer the authorised centre for immigration visa. Everything is done at Lajpat Nagar..I have posted this multiple times.

You might have posted this, but I am going with the official info posted on the government site --  https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Medical/NWD - New Delhi.pdf

For the rest of the board folks, my timeline has a few dates +1/-2 days for privacy reasons, other than that everything is as I have shared from the get go! This tiny date difference is the reason I am being slammed with the catty "cooked story" remark.

For others who might be curious -- my hubby just got off the phone with Max and was told that Lajpat Nagar is confirmed as the place conducting medicals for immigration.

His appointment confirmation text notes "US Adult" (your appointment with US Adult has been scheduled), which made him think the Dr. was an American. Anyhow, the confusion is cleared now, LajPat Nagar is a go and he is seeing an Indian doctor.

Just an FYI for folks waiting to get their medicals. :)

Hi everyone: I need some advise from all you lovely peps.  I will try to keep this as short as possible:

Basically, there are family members of my husband who we kept our marriage secret from, and other villagers as well (his immediate family knows but no one else) because i am American and he is Indian.  And there are some in the village who we think could have a problem with this.  Amyway.. our (and his immediate families) attempt at keeping this secret until he comes to the usa.. May have been compromised.  And he could be in danger somewhat from those who might not like our marriage.  If he suddenly has any issues from this.. would that be grounds to expedite our visa? Could asking for an expedite under these circumstances cause more problems? Would renting him a place in another city for a few months be the best option?  Any advise would be hugely appreciated.  Thanks you all

I am sure you would need some kind of hardcore evidence that he is in danger in order to get an expedite.
