I am not too familiar with this step sorry. In my case my husband did everything so no idea. I can tell you about DS260 if you need any help as I filled it myself.

 

Post this on a larger forum, there will be many people who can assist you.

@amul- as per the spread sheet snd and your timeline, your interview has been scheduled for 15th August in New Delhi.

That does raise an alarm 🚨!!

How can you get an interview date on a Holiday?? That too in Embassy in New Delhi which comes under high alert during 15th August!! It's impossible for public to get around US Embassy in delhi on independence day.

Call the NVC (if you have not yet) and let them know that the form is submitted. Sometimes, the system does not take it, so they re-submit their form from their end. taht will speed up the process to get your AOS fee invoice, post which you will be able to pay your fees...

So have the unlaminated one as well to be safe. About the marriage certificate I am sorted. Coz Delhi gives certificate with digital signature and you can download as many from their website using your ID/password. But yeah I understand what you mean. My father tried and we got the other copy issued for birth certificate and that made me little less stressed out..I would have still gone without 2nd copy.

Inspired by the above conversation.. JUST an FYI for when you get to the US.  Do not laminate your Social security card.  Although, I wonder if it's still on paper.. Maybe it's a plastic card by now..  From the link below, looks like it's still paper.. Seriously the US needs to get up to date with the modern times.

My final preparation for Tuesday..

 

Blue folder- Civil,financial, passport,DS260, appointment letter,photo,original civil docs and any extra doc for just in case.

Separated and labelled.

 

Red folder- relationship evidences. 

 

Green envelope- Medical 

 

Two brown bags 💼- wedding albums. Will carry them without bags.

Did you try reaching out  to the consulate? Here on VJ people are accompanying their spouses at Delhi Consulate.. Mumbai should allow too.. but If I were you, I would call first. Your US passport should suffice I guess...
