The plan, to swim down the Bay of Fundy having stolen from my neice her mermaid swim fins......(need to have the right swimming action through the water) 

 

This way no wall and I will look like a seal to any coast watchers .... why Canada? no sharks  

 

I had thought of trying to swim on the west coast but could not afford the extra air fare. Norwegian Air are doing good deals so it could be the best way.

A number of people are doing as you suggested, reversing the decision and going elsewhere, yet the processing times are still painfully slow.

I had a similar reaction after the attack in Stockholm. I am already passed the visa stage and I have a Green Card. My worry was that travel between the US and Sweden would be harder because we have pretty much the same problem with some of our "refugees" that Germany has. And when I saw it in quotation marks I am talking about the ISIS people who snuck in with the refugees. But nothing happened, the US didn't have much of a reaction except Trump saying "I told you so" when he had no idea what he was talking about. I think the whole UK/US thing is going to blow over. I think (hope) he will realize that his whole thing towards the major of London is embarrassing him and the entire US.

I'm way more worried about what's happening in Europe these days than Trump making some good decisions to protect the American people.

There will never be a time In American history that the U.K. Will be banned or restricted on travel/immigration to the US.    

 

A lot of crazy cultures and regions to keep out or restrict.   The U.K. Will never be in that group.

Of course he will allow legal immigrants in the USA. I'm not against extra background checks and there might be changing a few things but visas for like fiancees and spouses will be just fine.

Yes I agree. If only he could focus on that and not ban a whole religion.

I agree. It's sad what's going on in Europe. Someone said on the radio that ISIS is getting desperate because the US is about to move in on them in their self proclaimed capital and that they're getting desperate because they know the end is near. I really hope it's true, that they are about to go bye bye but I really really hope we won't see any more attacks though I know that's probably wishful thinking too. 

 

But like someone said, the risk of any changes to the fiance or spouse visa are slim. Good luck to everyone who are waiting for their approvals!

There should be a regional ban.   There are too many third world and backwards countries which do not have the ability to sufficiently vet their citizens.    This has zero to do with religion.   

 

Heck even qatar is being banned by Muslim countries who are at least trying.   How bad must Qatar be.....   that should be an easy ban for the US.

So Trump's travel ban was partially reinstated by the Supreme Court. Does anybody know exactly what this means and if it could impact my fiance's K1 application? Most websites i found only stated that, others said that it would be reinstating the amended executive order from March 6, and I found this website saying that people with bona fide relationships would still be allowed to enter the country.

 

Thoughts?

I don't think anyone is 100% sure what will happen next with this travel ban. It seems that they (The Supreme Court) will do a full review of it in October. Turkey is not on the list on 'banned' countries however, so your K1 petition should not be affected.
