Remember you're judging someone through the lens of the media you are receiving this information on. You don't know Trump personally.

Most businesses do, expenses, deductibles. Can't wait till he implements tax cuts and eliminates all the waste of taxpayers money, he's already made a start. Now I won't feel as bad paying my taxes knowing that someone isn't wasting it on bad deals. I did get a $7,000 tax refund this year which brought my tax rate down to 15%. I can't wait to see what my tax rate is for 2017!!

I'd be skeptical of the validity of those "tweets". I voted prolife, I voted for Trump. Sorry, I have no regrets.

He's following through on  his campaign promises without hesitation. Why are people so shocked? I have no idea! Perhaps, no one is use to things getting done so quickly in government. We should be celebrating this, especially after the extremely lengthy process we have all been (or still) going through.

Well I i hope your right, and maybe I'm not a good judge on what makes a good republican, because if I was allowed to vote it would be democrat. I can see how from your perspective he is   succesfull at following his intent. But for me it is his intent i don't like.
But that is what democracy is all about we both get to pick or sides and both have there own succeses and what is a succes to you feels as a loss to me.

so now he's potentially open to the Gang of 8 bill?  This can't be true...

Later clarified to state he does not support the Gang of Eight but encouraged similar cooperative efforts by Senators in the future.

Yes that was confusing.  Why did he say he'd support it or was it misinterpreted as he wanted his senators to work cooperatively

He just meant he liked the idea that Senators had worked cooperatively and encouraged them try to come up with something new.

It seems to me that the Green Party would be more in line with your politics.  Maybe worth a look?

One of his big promises that he seems to refuse to tackle is DACA and repealing it.  I do wonder if he's throwing the community a bone by doing nothing with it, or perhaps will he suddenly use all registered DACA info to round them up for being deported.  The question lingers.

According to CCN, a Hispanic woman got deported back to Mexico after Trump took place in the White House.

Immigration advocates said they believe the deportation reflects the Trump administration's immigration hardline. "ICE had done what President Trump wanted -- which is deport and separate our families," Garcia said.

You would think so, and in an ideal world where wars can be fixed by beeing nice, maybe yes. And i am all for non-voilance, green enviorments, and social justice. But in teh end I dont really like like exreem right or left, because neither of them work well with others and are often unwilling to compromise. and then it ens up in either noting is happening or things do happen (EOs) but its very extreemly against a large part of society. And green parys are also non milatary but i am not. So i would go with democrat because I feel green party are to idealistic and not realistic enough. mony needs to be put aside for health, enviorement and education, but when a party wants to go to far in that not enough people can stand behind that and leeds no where.

Life is made of compromise, if we all move to the middle a bit, i think it would be a lot easyer to make bills that work for big groups of people and dont havely favore either left or right.

From what I read she expected it and was prepared.

That's what I read too but CNN makes it sound like this happened because of Trump's administration.

And on the flip side a b2 teenager was released from immigration jail and is attending school on a b2:

A Jordanian teenager returned to his home near Houston on Wednesday after being detained for more than a week following President Donald Trump's executive order curbing immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.

Mohammad Abu Khadra, 16, flew into Houston and was picked up by his brother, Rami. The two live in Katy, where Mohammad attends school at Katy High.

Zakaria said Mohammad may have revealed shortly after he was first detained that he was enrolled at a public high school, which is a violation of his tourist visa.
