The basis for the EO was and is to pacify his base that was motivated through fear. It was a thank -you note for his voters.
Trump won because too many did not vote, he lost the popular vote. Period. He does not reflect the majority of American perspective.
The non voters only have themselves to blame and have learned their lesson for the next election. Stand by and watch.

 

 

I am not going to get into a pissing match over how you are incorrectly using basic terminology.   

 

Trump won because he wanted strong borders.   And he was the only candidate taking a hard stance. 

 

He lost the popular vote because he spent half the money on his campaign that hillary did and never went to California.   She won California by 4 million votes.  Her margin on pop vote was 3.   Which democrats win all the time.... because of California.  

 

If if you are going slam trump then at least be intellectually honest.    

 

I care about my country having laws, a sensible and to our advantage immigration policy.   I want to take in smaller numbers to ensure full assimilation.  

 

The issue isnt family immigration.   It's work and student visas.   University's want international students so they can charge Higher tuition.    It's a boondoggle.

I'm sure anyone on this forum would be quite upset if their loved one was blocked from entering for no good reason due to their country of origin due to a president who does not seem to understand immigration very well.

Its not a blanket ban.  It's a 90-120 day ban.  That's temporary.  Until they sort out the new policy.   And it's only banned now because of that.... if countries were added later there would be no need for a temp ban.... the policy would be in place already.  They would just be transferred to the new policy.   

 

Trump actually has a moderate position on this matter.   It seems radical because obama did zero.
