17 days till Chris is here!!!!

I'm glad you have a short time to wait, but that doesn't make my time feel any shorter.

Maybe its the jet lag, but I am just sick of the separation. 3 1/2 years and counting is long enough.

It isn't the Jet lag kicking in..I broke down too just before he went to the interview. The 3 years that I have had the emotional ups and downs of him being here (or me there) and then him leaving just paid its toll on my brain. But I'd do it over and over again just to have him here. VERY glad I won't have to.

You're almost there!! Just a bit more. You will make it!!

I'm sorry it's so awful for you Tracy -- hugs from London!! (L)

Reading of your pain, and all the K-1s, K-3s and IR1s/CR1s who can't be with their loved one during this process, makes me realise how lucky I am to be with mine every day, even when he is driving me up the wall. How you all do it, I do not know -- you have such reserves of strength and love. I've the biggest admiration for you all!

It's almost over, Trac...hang in there. It's so tough, we all know that at least, but hmmm...how do I put this? Kinda like childbirth in a way...utterly miserable while it's happening, and then when you look at your baby....omg..it was SO worth it! Really suchhhhhhhh a stupid analogy, I know :P but you get what I'm saying...when he gets off that plane and there are no more goodbyes....it's just the BEST feeling!!! SOON, it will be here! Just think of it this way at least...probably sooner than you would have been able to have another visit...so, that's something, right??? I hear ya though. :( Hope you feel better today! M.

Thanks all. I don't have much to grumble about, truly. Its just more 'raw' after a visit (something all of you can relate to...!)

Sending happy thoughts your way Tracy. Nuttin I can really say to make you feel better, though I wish I could. Reading your post brought a lump in my throat, ohhhhh how I remember those feelings. Those of us for various reasons that had to wait years to finish the process can certainly sympathize with all that you are feeling, my mail box is always open! (F) Just keep trodding along (since that is all you can really do), you are so close to finally being together........FOREVER!

Now a recommendation, start cleaning under the microwave, fridge, washer etc as soon as possible! ;) The time will fly by so darn fast you will not know what hit you and all of the sudden Chas will be there in your home!

Somewhat comforting to hear this is not something we're going through alone, and also sad to know others are feeling this horrible pain too. As far as the seperation, trust me I understand, and we have 3 kids this is effecting too. My hubby's interview is Friday, and I am having my own meltdown. Everyone going through this as well are in my thoughts and prayers.
