I am in similar situation, In my case.... USCIS said it schedule me for an interview in March, 2017. I did not receive any letter from them, I signed up for email and text alert, My case status was not updated. After several phone calls, i was able to speak with a Tier 2 officer, after checking the systems, she said it was an administrative error. That no interview notice was sent, as there is no copy of the notice in my file on their system. I also schedule an infopass to speak with someone in the field office. The man was treating it like I missed the interview.

After several explanation and email to the administrative error request. He told me they will get back to me within 4-6 weeks and see if they can reschedule another interview.

I have verified and updated my Address and everything hoping for the best now.

I think the level of communication btw the NBC and field offices is low.
