That is all good but then it leads to this question by @Boiler.....

What's gonna happen to those dropship agents and suppliers if you are gone for 2 months?

My partner(friend) and mother are able to help and take care of it when I'm away. Last year I travel to UK for almost a month and US for 4 months (work and travel) but my business operations are still going well.

I came home and participated in exhibitions and meetings with suppliers etc.

There you go. If you have friends and family that can care for the business while you are away for long periods of time then your business is not a strong tie. Do you see the point we are trying to make here?

Got it. That was last year before I started focusing 100% on my business though.

Those 25 dropship agents were also recruited from this year. I have lots of business plans coming up (already had 2 events this year) therefore I had to change the duration to only 17 days. How should I present strong ties on this?

Will a letter from my supplier stating that my presence is needed helps?

What visa did you have that allowed you to work in the USA for 4 months last year? Is that visa still valid? Most are valid for several years.

That makes more sense.

But a J-1 is not for running your own online business.

In any event, the CO (probably quite justifiably) does not see your "online business" as a legitimate tie. It sounds like it operates from a laptop in your spare room. You appear to have no inventory and basically wait for a customer to buy something from you and then you rush to get it and send it to them. Sounds more like an eBay hobby. The cash-flow sounds very weak as you wait until you have an order before you purchase that which has been ordered. It's the kind of thing that could end tomorrow. You are basically a shopping service for people too lazy to source the item themselves.

I do have a bunch of inventories sitting at home. I sell a wide range of products so not all are ready.

I'm honestly surprised the CO was open about the reason for denial and did a decently thorough interview. Normally, you only get a few questions then a 214b slip and then out you go. Props to him/her.

You can apply as many times as long as long as you have money for the fee. However, the result will not change until their is a significant change in your circumstances. Changing the dates won't help...the concern is that you may overstay/live in the US, so a shorter time period doesn't really impact that. The additional travel abroad should help your case. Waiting at least a year before trying again would be beneficial as well...a CO will be skeptical of significant changes in your circumstances in a short period of time. The business can more-or-less function/continue without you physically present back home, which is likely (part of) what the CO was trying to ascertain with her line of questioning.

I doubt you'd see anything other than a denial for the circumstances you describe.
