Fusion GPS was employed by GOP candidates to create the dossier on Trump until the dropped out of the primary.  The Clinton campaign was only involved after the research was dropped the investigation. 

Paul sperry is a hack the writes what Trump wants him to. But hey your criticism of wapo using unamed sources is fair enough...does this hack job have any real news?

Quite frankly, if I were a GOP candidate in a field of 17, I would go to a DNC research firm to get opposition information.  You may be right that this writer is a hack, but he is a hack among a large community of hacks on either side.

How about a research firm that has been hired by Marco Rubio, Planned Parenthood, Big Pharma and Hillary Clinton's campaign butnot evidence the DNC or RNC have used their services.  

There is nothing really shady or sketchy about opposition research firms. Most candidates do it to themselves so they know what will come out before their opponents come up with the dirt.
