I'm so excited I can't sleep. There is light at the end of the tunnel after all. Our quest started July 5th 2006 and my baby will be in my arms April 15th 2007 that's two hundred and eighty four days. Wrought with its share of ups and downs, but they all seem like nothing now. I'm sure some of you have waited longer but hang in there because it's worth it.

On this forum I'm sure most of you still have a ways to go, but this is what we all strive for. To have our sweethearts in our arms again. :thumbs:

08/01/2005 - First met Lisa on the Internet

05/25/2006 - Flew to Guangzhou to meet my Sweetheart

06/21/2006 - Returned to America

07/05/2006 - sent I-129F to Nebraska Service Center

07/07/2006 - Transfered to California Service Center

07/11/2006 - NOA1

07/15/2006 - Touched

07/18/2006 - Check Cleared at Bank.

09/18/2006 - Touched

09/18/2006 - NOA2 Approved

09/19/2006 - Touched

09/21/2006 - NOA2 Received in Mail

09/28/2006 - NVC Received Petition and Assigned Case Number GUZ2006xxxxxx

10/05/2006 - Shipped to Guangzhou

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

2/26/07--I-129F arrives at CSC

2/27/07-- NOA1

2/28/07-- Check cashed

3/1/07-- Touched

3/7/07--Cleared check shows in my account

3/7/07--NOA1 hard copy

5/17/07--Touched (PLEASE NO RFE)

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Thanks everybody for your well wishing. I was a big follower in this forum prior to my NOA2 but once your petition goes to Guangzhou, China then the Candle for Love is the forum of choice until you get your visa. But I wanted to stop back in here and drop my new news because this is a great site for support in the beginning stages. I hope you all get through the process faster than 284 days.

Whew, biggest task was removing all the signs and signals that my house has been a bachelor’s home for 18 years. I bought a new range so I didn't have to clean the old one. and six hours to clean the refrigerator. Something tells me my Pink Floyd poster (The Wall) and autographed albums and guitars will have to go though.
