Hi all,

I AM DESPERATE!! I am in the US on a J-1 visa, and my DS2019 is going to expire on June 30th. I applied for adjustment of status and work permit but my forms got rejected since they were outdated. I think this is unbelievable since their expiration date is at the end of the year. Well, I have 2 questions:

1- I want to re-send my application, but what happens if it is wrong again and/or if they do not get it before June 30th? Would it be illegal to apply after my DS2019 expired?

2- Did I lose all the fees or can I "reuse" them?

Thank you for the help!

hi

don't worry, overstay is forgiven for those married to a US Citizen. so even if you messed up again or the process gets delayed, you will be fine

just send the paperwork again

thank you so much!

do you have an idea if i can re-send the same money orders..they stamped them..

thank you!

Ada
