So, my fiance made it to America and I wanted to give a brief overview of my experience.

We applied in December before the fee increase. No RFE's or anything, super easy. Just triple check everything before you send it in.

The medical was fine, it was a 2 day experience. Went smoothly for her, but of course, I was worried and stressed the whole time.

Interview was done within 2 hours and they asked 3 questions and no paperwork was asked for.

The flight was the worst part because I was anxious. Flight got delayed by an entire day and in Hawaii they don't have free wifi, so we couldn't communicate as much. So, it was stressful, luckily the airline confirmed she was on the plane for me. Apparently, she had no issues at immigration or customs. Guam and then Hawaii has lots of Filipinos, so if you're worried about that part I'd suggest going through Guam. I arrived at the airport and of course, more delays so it was about 30 minutes later. But she made it!

Overall it was a great experience, but luckily my fiance is calm and patient because I'm definitely not. My biggest pieces of advice are double check everything and talk every day.

Good luck everyone!!!!

Thanks everyone for your help!!!

I didn't realize Guam had a lot of Filipino's. That's info that might come in handy some day. Glad everything was successful. Congratulations! :)

The weather is pretty similar to the Philippines, so didn't surprise me. She said all the people she dealt with were from the Philippines.

Congratulations! I am happy she made it and you are ready to start your new journey! So are you in Hawaii? Hawaii is probably the one state closest to being in the Philippines. You can even take her to Jolibees :D

Ah ... the visa process isn't such a long journey these past few years I have seen a fair number get done, from petition to visa approved, in under 6 months with ease.

Petitions were taking 6 months not too long ago.

That would be awesome.  I know it is a long shot but I'd love to all be together for their first white Christmas this year...
