I have been reviewing the spreadsheet and it looks as though the NVC is working on cases that have a scan date of May 15th!  Let's hope the people who update the timeline are correct and accurate.  Good luck to everyone!

I think it really depends where these cases are from, for some countries there's a longer wait, for some a shorter one, probably depends on how many requests they're receiving and how many people who are specialized in reviewing documents from a certain region/country they have available.

Possibly but  was told they work on the cases by the  date they come in...lets just hope we are not being lied to.

That's what USCIS says as well but does it really happen...?

Getting too excited. Love your energy. :-)  Those May cases are unique situations. Nvc is still working on April cases for at least 2 more weeks. Earliest you could start to see May cases will most likely be next week. And yes, they process by order received but not everyone is trained in every language or country... so that's why I suggest looking a cases from your country to see when they got their CCs. This will give you a good idea of when you could expect yours.

That's what I thought too.

Hello everyone, this question is for you all who successfully received their 10-year green card:
What should I do next? Should I just relax and wait for the card? Or did I miss a step that I need to do? Please let me know ASAP. I only have more than 30 days to stay here for employment and travel according to my extension letter. I am worried.

Here is my timeline, since I entered USA:
I entered US in August 2014. I received conditional permanent resident card (Green card) by Septemeber 2017. I received my SSN by September or October 2014. I returned my green card because of typo error. I got the new one after 2-3 months. Then, next step was to wait for the letter regarding for removal of conditional status. So we waited until June or July 2016 (before my 2nd year in the USA) I received a letter and list of requirements (documents/evidence) to apply for removal of conditional. We submitted all the requirements that will prove our good marriage together with the check (where the exact amount needed for the process of removal). They will return if you send the evidence and check separately. It happened to us so it caused us one or two weeks delayed, closed to my 2nd year anniversary August 2016. After this, I received a letter of one year extension (for employment and travel). Then, I received a letter for my biometric and interview schedule in Chicago. And now, I'm waiting for my 10-year green card now. Hopefully, I'll receive it in August 2017 before my extension expires.

What should I do next? Should I just relax and wait for the card? Or did I miss a step that I need to do? Please let me know ASAP. I only have more than 30 days to stay here for employment and travel according to my extension letter. I am worried.
