If/when they visit his neighbours or his family and ask "Is he married with Antoinette bojang?"  - Will they say yes, we were at the wedding, beautiful and happy couple!  Or will they say, no?

House calls, I thought only house calls were made if there was an indication of Fraud.... Gambia is well over 9 hours travel from Dakar where this interview will take place... I doubt there will be a house call. If she says basically they was some ceremony in a room in the house and no guest attended, that isn't even a traditional ceremony..... I really think they are not married.

I have been on VJ to long, if they have doubt, they will verify, or simply deny.  No need to come from Dakar, personnel from the embassy in the Gambia could go. Best of luck to her.

You have called him your husband more than once and have admitted to a traditional wedding. What people are telling you is that traditional weddings can be grounds for a K1 denial. There have been cases of it on VJ.

Just be aware of the possibility.

Same thing here, sometimes my fiancé calls me his wife, or I will say where is my husband. However we have not had a traditional, nor a legal ceremony, we don't wear matching outfits, none of that. I definitely made him aware that we would not send any of the chat logs that say that because we don't want to give any appearance that we are married because we have not and we filed for the Fiancé Visa. So while he thinks it's cute to say "my wife" and have me respond with "my husband", we definitely don't want to blur any lines. So with the OP  reference of "my husband" or mention of "traditional ceremony" they will definitely say they have married.......
