I don't know if it's the same (i would think so since it's regulated by US) but when my family went to the medical exam in the Philippines, we were checked.  I mean checked. EVERY. SINGLE. HOLE. if you know what I mean.

Shots wise, it's everything USA needs mandatory. I got 7, my sis got 9, my bro had 10. Since philippines do not require immunizations, we got pretty much all the immunizations.

Just think of it as a general check up...they might check every inch of the body (probably be prepared for a digital rectal exam).

In my case though I was never asked to take off any clothing. Just blood and urine tests, Xray, and vaccinations.

They will check for gonorrhea (urine), chicken pox immunity, syphilis (blood). Xray for tuberculosis.

I got 3 shots which are against: measles, mumps, rubella, diptheria, pertusis, tetanus, and flu

For adults age 30-50, the following immunizations (or proof that vaccinations have previously been done)

a. MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) - if you have proof of previously being vaccinated, bring it to the medical

b. Varicella : If you had chicken pox in your childhood you are already immune to this and don't need the vaccine

c. Tetanus (Tdap or Tetanus booster shot) : These are given every 10 years.. someone in the post said USCIS wants this in last 5 years

(keep in mind that there's a TD (tetanus and diptheria) and also a TDAP (tetanus, diptheria and pertussis (whooping cough). You need TDAP.

d. Flu : Required during Flu season (fall and winter, I think, but don't quote me.

If you already have taken (a-c) but do not have records, you can get your blood test (exam is known as TITER) done for the above vaccines showing that you have antibodies for those 'or' you can take the vaccines again. There's no harm in getting re-vaccinated. I don't know what Mexico's medical system is like, but it's probably going to be cheaper to get the vaccinations you need prior to the medical. Then you bring proof of having been vaccinated to the medical and they won't charge you a bunch extra to give you the shots.

Otherwise, my medical was very non-invasive, just questions and the chest xray (and TDap because I got the TD at my doctor by mistake)

I had to take my shirt off for the chest xray, but that was as naked as I got. (of course, I was in Canada, so the policies may vary by country. They asked me a bunch of questions and had me read a couple lines of an eye chart and that was it.

Is your timeline updated?

I had my medical exam in CD Juarez, not sure what the case is for men but as a girl I had to have x-rays, and a doctor came to check me, asked for any drugs or alcohol use and if I had tattoos, for both exams I had to be uncovered from the chest and with the doctor I had to be fully undressed but they gave me a cover like they do at a regular doctor visit. They didn't check any private areas. I don't know if that's the case for men though. As far as shots go, it really varies from person to person. I had to have 3.

Hola Leti&Miguel. This is the weblink for the clinic we used for the required medical examination appointment prior to your scheduled Immigration Visa interview at the US Consulate = http://clinicamedicainternacional.com.mx/en/.  It can be read in both espanol & English, and has a section with the costs.  Make certain that your husband has and brings his vaccination record or he will be required to have all of the CDC required shots and that can add a hefty additional USD cost. Buen suerte.
