I'd love this. Maybe we can do a side by side comparison about popular media figures as well threatening Trump vs. Obama. It's a pretty obvious conclusion that will be drawn. The left try and make it seem like the hostility toward Obama is even remotely comparable. lol. It isn't.

There were some fringe idiots who said some bad things about Obama but you didn't have actors, comedians, reporters, politicians and other high profile people calling for his death like what is happening with Trump. There is just no comparisons between the two.

On Wednesday, Las Vegas police released a video from surveillance cameras at Senator Dean Heller’s office. It showed a man leaving a note that threatened to kill Heller if he voted to repeal ObamaCare.

The man was described by police as “a white male adult, between 50 to 60 years old, gray beard, heavy set, wearing a black baseball hat, short sleeve collared shirt and shorts.”

The Nevada Independent reported:

A note taped to Sen. Dean Heller’s Senate office was from someone asserting that he would lose his health care if the key senator voted for the repeal bill and that he would die if that happened and would take Heller with him, a law enforcement source said.

But as Ed Morrissey noted at HotAir:

It didn’t seem to make a lot of impact on the national media ... CNN’s Chris Cillizza reported on a barely veiled political threat to Heller from Donald Trump over his ObamaCare repeal position (which was certainly both newsworthy and amusing), but CNN still hasn’t reported on an actual threat to Heller.  Would such a threat against a senator who planned to vote to preserve ObamaCare have been similarly ignored? Or would it have gotten national coverage?

Militant left-wing leader arrested for allegedly inciting violence at 2016 Sacramento melee

 

The prominent leader of a militant left-wing group was arrested earlier this week on charges stemming from a violent brawl last year between white nationalist groups and counter-protesters.

Yvette Felarca, 47, was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Tuesday on charges of inciting and participating in a riot, and assault likely to cause great bodily injury, the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday. The charges come after an eight-month investigation.

Felarca, whose name in public records appears as Yvonne Capistrano Felarca, has been identified as the leader and spokesperson for the anti-fascist group By Any Means Necessary.

She is among several people arrested this week in connection to the wild skirmish that broke out at the state Capitol in June 2016 when more than 300 counter-protesters confronted about 30 members of the Traditionalist Worker Party, which has been called a white nationalist group.

Felarca, who is a middle school teacher in Berkeley, attended the Capitol protest and gave television interviews after the melee. She was captured on video hitting a member of the TWP and calling a man a Nazi before punching him in the stomach repeatedly while shouting for him to “get the f*** off our streets.”
