Hi all, We are compiling our documents to file the I-129F form. I'm a little confused as to if the beneficaiary also has to include a include their birth certificate. The I-129F instruction guide mention nothing about this. It only ask for the birth certificate of the USC (the petitioner). My understanding that the beneficiary's birth certificate is only neccessary at the embassy interview stage. Am I correct?

You're right!

The beneficiary's birth certificate will be needed for pack 3!

Good luck for your journey!

Thanks to you both. It's just that we are trying to be as prepared and watched some videos on YouTube and I saw someone include the beneficiary birth certificate. It immediately didn't square with everything I've read and seen so I thought I would ask.

Its okay, I felt exactly the same 7months ago while preparing the packet. Our packet were so thick te consular officer did not asked a lot questions because we made it like a story teller we did it all date by date with receipts amd explanations

Beneficiary's information such as birth certificate, passport, etc., is not needed until the interview. USCIS only needs the US petitioner's birth certificate and/or US Passport with copies of bio page AND all pages in the Passport. The purpose of this to prove the US petitioner is a US Citizen by birth.

Good Luck on your journey!!! :D
