Yeah cause after 20+ years of no proof whatsoever any widespread voter fraud has ever taken place, the republicans have put that issue to bed.

I don't remember the name of the special investigator put in place to investigate this.  It is not really a valid comparison as in one you have a few acedemic studies with differing conclusions and with the other we have a great deal of government money being used to investigate a narrative.  Do we know if there is widespread fraud in voting?  Still an unanswered question and one that will most likely never be answered, but anytime someone tries to put a little more security in the process they are usually shot down primarily by those on the Left which leads to questions regarding their motives.  I am sure they are all altruistic.

I the case presented today, I don't think it is a bona fide academic study.

The comparison I am making isn't a monetary one, it's the fact that both sides keep coming up with these "A Ha Moments" that dwindle to nothing but a whimper within days because their is no proof of any of it, just wild accusations.

And no gov't money has been wasted throughout the years in voter fraud investigations and the cost to put voter id laws in place?

Just because the answer of whether or not widespread voter fraud has taken place isn't the one you agree with or want, doesn't mean there isn't an answer. You're doing the same thing you accuse "the left" of doing about the Russians hacking the election, you're making unproven accusations even when the evidence suggests the opposite of the allegations you are making. Most logical folks know the answer is no, there is no proof whatsoever that widespread voter fraud has ever taken place, just like there is no proof the Russians successfully hacked the election.

Is it most logical folks "know", or most logical folks "hope"?  Personally, I don't think there is widespread voter fraud, but as I have stated many times, just one fraudulent vote is concerning.  Do we need an expensive investigation to find that needle in a haystack, certainly not, but strengthening our laws does seem prudent.  We could do the opposite and just let everyone present vote wherever they may be.

I agree. There's nothing heinous about Voter ID laws. But every single one that is attempted gets the same response from the left.. clearly they're okay with any likely voter fraud occurring.

I'm firmly in belief and the facts bear it out that that there is no proof whatsoever that widespread voter fraud has ever taken place in the US.

Spending millions of dollars strengthening laws in an area that facts show do not need strengthening, is a waste of gov't resources that could be used in many more important areas that are lacking funds.

And no, just one fraudulent vote is not concerning when you think of the hundreds of millions of votes that are cast each year in the US. In fact the numbers on voter fraud are so low that it's not even one tenth of one percent of all votes that are cast. The problem is a made up one and it's non-existent.

That would explain Trump's winning in certain places. It would also explain all the people that showed up for his inauguration. LOL.

Well seeing the cards are handed out by the Indian gov't at no charge to it's citizens and the card is required to vote, I can see how every single voter would have one, no matter their income. But by all means keep posting these ridiculous meme's.

Give them enough time, and they will propose that we adopt Russian-style voting. Nobody needs to show up, and the president decides the election. That ensures no illegal immigrants are voting, and it's a sure way to eliminate fraud. LOL.
