Professor who makes appearance on Tucker suspended indefinitely; hilarity ensues

A former professor at Essex County College was indefinitely suspended two days after her heated appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

 

Lisa Durden was told that she had to cancel her classes and report to Essex County College’s human resources department two days after a June 6 appearance on the prime time Fox News show. School officials then indefinitely suspended her.

“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden told The Star-Ledger. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”

Durden went off on the show in defense of a black-only Memorial Day party organized by Black Lives Matter, dodging a direct question from Carlson on whether it’s okay to exclude people based on race.

“I thought the whole point of Black Lives Matter, or one of the points, would be to speak out against singling people out on the basis of their race and punishing them for that because you can’t control what your race is, and yet they seem to be doing that, explain that to me,” Tucker said.

“What I say to that is boo hoo hoo you white people are angry because you couldn’t use your white privilege card to get invited to the Black Lives Matters, all black, Memorial Day celebration,” Durden replied, cutting off Carlson.

“White folks crack me up all of a sudden, when we want one day for black folks to focus on ourselves but you’ve been having white days for ever, you don’t say the words anymore because you know its politically incorrect,” Durden shouted.

After the show, Durden received a letter from the vice president for academic affairs at Essex County College, informing her that she was suspended “until further notice.”

I watched this interview with my wife when it was first aired and we both believed she was about as ignorant as a person can be. She did actually say she was not "black lives matter" which I am sure the movement will be quite happy to hear.

 

Strange they way she said to Tucker on more than one occasion that she would be back on his show soon.

Except as shown in this case, using the left for comedic relief (for their own stupidity of going on a nationally televised show to spew their filth) and them taking responsibility for their own choices is akin to lynching.

College defends firing professor after Fox News appearance

 

NEWARK -- Weeks after an adjunct professor was suspended in the wake of a raucous appearance on a Fox News television show, the college's president is speaking out about the school's decision to fire her.

In a statement released Friday night, newly appointed Essex County College President Anthony Munroe said the school received complaints about adjunct communications professor Lisa Durden after her June 6 appearance on "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

"The college was immediately inundated with feedback from students, faculty and prospective students and their families expressing frustration, concern and even fear that the views expressed by a college employee (with influence over students) would negatively impact their experience on the campus," Munroe said in the statement.

"I fully believe that institutions of higher learning must provide a safe space for students... The character of this institution mandates that we embrace diversity, inclusion, and unity. Racism cannot be fought with more racism."

Durden said that although she did not identify herself as affiliated with Essex County College on the show, she was forced to cancel her classes and abruptly suspended two days later, a process she likened to a public lynching.

I am shocked she did not get awarded a dept chair and get a diversity award
