Okay, it looks like I need a business visa in the next 6 weeks. Does anyone have a recommendation for who to use for this? I will be in Moscow and Lipetsk for the most part,

staying with my in-laws.

Tourist visa is out, as I will be there longer than 30 days, and will be making several trips. (Homestay/private won't work either).

Thanks in advance!

I've used www.russia-visa.com several times and never had a problem. They also have someone in Moscow that will register your visa for you.

I believe GTR also does the business visa.

(I wanna say I was going to get one through them, don't remember if it was them or not, just remember while I was shopping around to get my visa, someone offering to be my "business sponsor" and to type up the necessary letters.)

I have used optima-worldwide 2 times for tourist visa. I will send for my business visa 3/19. It costs 450.00 for 5 day return, or 350.00 for 9 day an so on up to 23 days i think. I personally do not want my passport sitting on someone's desk for longer than 5 business days so I will pay the 450.00. This includes all supporting documents. You will need a multiple entry business visa. (this will cost more and take more time to get) . NOTE- make sure on your visa application it says manager on your employee info. I am not a manager but i put "Manager/Office Personel on my app. I guess you have to be a manager or something. Whatever!! If you are going for more than 3 months you will need a HIV/Aids test and certificate.

You might consider getting a hotel for 3 or 4 days so they can register your visa. I am going for 3 months to Vladimir, Russia 5/31. I will stay at a hotel for 4 days then move in with my fiance for the other 2.9 months. (probably wont even stay at the hotel, only $25 a night)

For quick turn around, that seems typical.

I'm looking at about $350 for a 4 week turn around. Keep in mind, the embassy

is taking a big chunk of this.

Neonred - how is Naples? I think I'm driving down for some fishing next week (used to live there myself).

I was looking at a 3 month double entry business visa with 6 day processing time for about $230. Guess I really don't know much about business visas....

Naples is great. Warm, beautiful, but getting to be an expensive place to live. Where are you going to fish? Send me a PM if you want to stop by to say hi. I'm very close to I-75 just off Pine Ridge Road.

You live in Tampa, right? We get up to Tampa and St Pete often as my parents live in St Pete.

Actually, St Pete, Downtown.

Naples is too pricey for us. At least here in St Pete you can still buy a place on the water (canal anyway) for $500,000 or so. The traffic down in Naples has been getting crazy too. Plus, I'm a big fan of having baseball here (I get to see at least a few Red Sox games a year).

Fishing will probably be Rookery Bay, then lunch at Porky's before driving home. I hesitate to call it "fishing", as I never catch anything. "Beer drinking on a boat" is a bit more accurate.

I was just down in Sarasota a few days ago. A friend took me out to lunch at Sharky's (I had never been).

I have used Visa Ecpress at www.visa.su or visaru.com. Tatiana Lushchik (e-mail: visa@visa.su) (7 496 545 8690) is the person that has helped me both times. I have found her to be very reliable and the least expensive I could find. I have only purchesed the Business Letter of Invitation for a 12-month multi-entry visa. She can provide any type of invitation. I then used the invitation to obtain my Visa from the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC. I had no problems both times I used her service.
