Hello VJers,

I am preparing my package to send to USCIS shortly, and would appreciate if you all can look through and let me know if I am missing something you might think is necessary .

Also I wanted to know how detailed the explanation for different addresses on pg 2 of 11 on form i-751 can be. I already have a two-page explanation for having two different addresses as it happened with seeing a doctor i was used to compared to moving out of state and starting all over with another doctor, coupled with the fact that no doctor was willing to accept me at the point in my pregnancy in the new state, so I had to go back to my precious state, hence I stayed apart from my husband for about 5 months while he visited regularly and was there for baby delivery and dedication, and then we moved back home after Doctor certified we could fly.

I don't know if it is okay to be too detailed in the explanation as I dont know if someone is willing to read the 2-page explanation (I hope they read it). Hence my husband signed a lease while I was away, and we never bothered to add me to the lease once I arrived back.

Documents I will be sending:

1)         Joint Account Check for I-751 Application Fee - $595.00

2)         Joint Account Check for Biometric Services Fee - $85.00

3)         Form I-751: Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

4)         USCIS Form I-551 (Permanent Resident Card) – Front and Back

5)         Our Baby’s Birth Certificate

6)         Evidence of comingling financial resources:

  • IRS Tax Return Transcript – Married Filed Jointly – 2015 and 2016

  • Joint Health Insurance Coverage 2015, 2016 – Till Date

  • Joint Vision Insurance Coverage 2015, 2016 – Till Date

  • Joint Dental Insurance Coverage 2015, 2016 – Till Date

  • Letter from US Citizen Spouse Employer validating Medical Coverage

  • 401K Retirement Benefits for Petitioner and US Citizen Spouse - We are each other’s Beneficiary

  • Joint Bank Account Cards and Statements 2015 – Till Date

  • Joint Credit Cards and Statements 2015 – Till Date (Petitioner is Primary Card Holder and US Citizen Spouse is an Authorized User)

7)         Evidence of common residency:

  • Petitioner’s Driver License

  • US Citizen Spouse Driver License

  • Apartment Lease 2015 - 2016

  • Joint Renter’s Insurance Policy 2015 – 2016

  • Joint Car Insurance Cards 2015 – Till Date

  • Joint Family Plan: T-Mobile Phone Bills 2015 – Till Date

  • Joint Utility Bills 2015- 2016

8)         Travel/Vacation Itinerary and Hotel Stay

9)         Pictures of us, our baby, family and friends over the span of our marriage

10)       Two (2) sworn and notarized affidavits

Any advice on how to write the explanation for the different addresses and also addressing why I am not on the lease. Thank you everyone in anticipation of your responses.

I feel that your baby is the single most important supporting factor.

We included health insurance documents that not only contained the petitioner's name but, our toddler's name

We included Social Security documents with our toddler's name

Also, dental and vision insurance with toddler's name

Consular Report of Birth Abroad with toddler's name

We actually had and submitted a bank statement with the toddler's name as an account holder (required for Social Security payments to toddler)

And, many photos with our toddler

Best wishes!

Also 401K beneficiary form listing toddler's name as secondary beneficiary

And, toddler's name cited (and highlighted) in both of our separate Wills and Trust documents
