Amen!! My husband had his visa interview this morning and was approved!! I'm so happy. Finally it is almost over and he will be here soon. He was there a few hours and says that he had a older white man that was friendly. He was smiling and only asked a few questions.

Questions:

1. How did you meet your wife?

2. What have you been doing in ghana while waiting?

Then some small chat about doing Uber business (which my husband does). then he says that he was approved!

Its been almost a year exactly since we first started this process. We included chats from watsapp since 2015-present, Facebook chat from 2014, calling history, wedding pics, and maybe 10 pics of us doing things casually. also western union money transfers. my mom was able to attend the wedding and we have pics of that, so i believe that helped. I know it is common to front load for the Ghana embassy, but honestly I didn't. I only included 2 pictures from the wedding initially. Everything else I mentioned was taken to the interview. I'm not saying I'm suggesting this, but honestly I didn't even know about front loading when I submitted my NVC application lol. Good luck all that are waiting! And if I can be of help to someone waiting on the Ghana process let me know. I had a pretty straight forward and smooth Visa process.

Hello and congratulations. 🎉🎉🎉

i sent a lot of info to USCIS which i suppose was sent to NVC then also to the U.S. Embassy in Ghana. So all those supporting documents i sent do i need to bring that along with me again or they will have it at the embassy?

Also besides paying for the medical what else would i need to pay for once i get approved?

And lastly how much is the medical and other payments if any?
