Whose check should be used for the filing fee?

I'll be filing for i-129f soon. My mother, who I live with, is going to co-sponsor with me. I'm wondering if it's ok if the filing fee is her check? Should it be my check? Does it not even matter, or might it be better evidence for them that she is serious about taking on the burden of my fiance? Because I've heard that there can sometimes be issues with using a co-sponsor, I don't really know.

For clarification, my fiance is going to send us the amount for the fee, but I do not have any checks right now and my mom does, but I can get checks if I need to.

Thanks in advance! Sorry if this question seems silly but it's been on my mind a lot and I'm just not sure what is the best way to do this. :)

The other posters above are correct, it doesn't matter who writes or signs the check. It just needs to be US drawn. Money order and cashier's check are accepted too.

Please note that the current fee for I-129F is $535 and write USCIS' name in full form :) Good luck with your petition!

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
