Was Sent an RFE how many days did this delay getting Employment Authorization?

Hey! I was sent an RFE back in March. It was over my Co-Sponsor not sending in their most recent tax report. When we mailed our packet it hadn't been filed yet. We sent it in as soon as she got it back which was in April. They had originally received our AOS paperwork February 23rd (sorry if this is confusing). I was wondering if any of you have been through this and how long it took to receive your Employment and Travel Authorization? It's been more than 90 days in total and it's beginning to get hard for me not being able to work, the sooner the better haha! Thanks in advance!

Hi..i can give you my personal experience as an example. There is not a certain answer for this. I have been waiting for my EAD since Dec 5th! I received an Rfe Feb 28th and they received my response on March 30th. And because it was an initial evidence i was told that my processing time started over. Even tho in total i have been waiting over 190 days, they start from the day they receive the response. So if it was initial evidence count another 90 more days from the day they got your response.

What is considered initial evidence?

It tells you on the request paper if it is initial or additional. Initial evidence is about mandatory documents. i864, birth or marriage certificate etc... if you have a copy of the request paper you can see it.
