The same catholic terrorists that CaliCat talks about have a political wing led by Gerry Adams Sinn Fein. They are the left and the first to march on the Israeli embassy in defence of the Palestinians. Believe me some of the posters they carry are not very nice, some even calling for the end of Israel.

This has nothing to do with terrorism this is a choice the government of Britain made nearly 100 years ago. 

 

I agree terrorism is terrorism no matter what causes it but you will never see that radical Muslims never want peace with you no matter how much you want it.

Pretty much. And given how much petty whining about Christians leftists engage in (or simply discussing things that occurred generations ago as if they have relevance today), it's pretty funny to see them give a pass to Muslims for ongoing terrorism today and give them victim status because people rightfully look at them more suspiciously and want to err on the side of caution. Asking lefties to be logical nowadays is an impossible task, all you get is tantrums. Wish we could deport them to MENA so they could go demand gay wedding cakes/transgender bathrooms and livestream how those "victims" treat them in return. Would be like a contemporary Truman Show.

So, Sinn Fein acts towards the Palestinian cause as you do towards the united Irish cause. When you say that the IRA was justified because they wanted a united Ireland, you are also standing for the Palestinian cause, for after all they all want their country free from what they perceive as an invader.

 

But we digress, and the fact remains that whoever perpetrated the act of terrorism tonight is no better than any other terrorist - Muslim, Catholic, etc.

 

It's sad to see that opportunistic individuals in the UK are using the recent attacks to justify their actions for what they perceive as vindication.

I don't condone what happened but if western governments continue to turn a blind eye towards radical Islam we will likely see more people who think they are carrying out some sort of vigilante justice doing things like this. This is not the way to handle the situation but people in the UK and elsewhere are becoming upset at their governments for allowing radical Islam to gain a foot hold in their countries through open border policies.

Your logic is quite amusing. 

 

I do not support Sinn Fein and Gerry Adams is a piece of ####. I never said I support the IRA nor supported the actions of either governments. 

 

Do I support a United Ireland? Of course but only by political means and you won't hear me say otherwise no matter how you try twist my words.

 

For the IRA their methods got them a seat at the table with the Good Friday agreement, which in turn led to a power sharing agreement in Stormont Castle Northern Ireland. As part of the deal both Irish and British government's had to release from prison what they called political prisoners from both the Catholic and Protestant sides. I believe they were all terrorists and should never have been set free. 

 

Does that make them the same as radical Muslims only in the sense that they all committed atrocities. But the Catholic and Protestant terror groups ultimately wanted peace whereas radical Muslims want nothing.

I don't think western governments are turning a blind eye to terrorism at all. The are doing what they can, and there is no way that you can anticipate what some crazy person will do. It seems the intelligence community is paying attention to chatter, and in some cases, preventing these attacks from happening.

As far as I know, Finsbury Park is also quite a diverse community, so much so that the public chased, held, and delivered the terrorist to the police.
