Hi all,

I've been googling the site for an answer, but i haven't found my situation. I make more then required for the poverty level for Affidavit of Support. August of this year i will have one year employment with this company, i asked HR for a letter of employment, Annual wage, length of service, my standing with the company ect. The letter i received only states, length of service, my hourly wage, bi weekly pay periods, and full time employee working 37-40 hours a week. The thing is i work 40 hours a week. I contacted HR, and was told, they cant put my annual wage or that i work 40 hours a week because of vacation time and paid holidays within any said week.

My question is, will my employment letter be acceptable? I will include my check stubs also. I just don't want an RFE

Thanks for any help

Your emoloyment letter shows ongoing stable employment. Your tax transcriots show history... your pay stubs show current income history and you estimate the total income you will make for this year...

You should be fine as long as your pay slips reflect an ability to estimate and annual amount over the 125% househould level. Multiply your hourly wage by 40 the  52 to get the estimated annual income...this allows for paid annual leave etc.

Thank you so much for your reply. I guess i was over thinking a bit. I will be fine making over the poverty limit.
