Absolutely!   I submitted everything with joint names on that I could get my hands on, even if it's useless and gets tossed, I gave it my best shot to avoid an RFE!

I see your point, but I just don't see how 18x3 statements with both our names would provide more information than 8x3 joint statements - especially if we have diverse documents such as joint leases, joint deed to a house we bought, perhaps a child together, utility bills in both our names, etc.

 

I guess logic gets thrown out the window when dealing with USCIS. I keep hoping there's someone who successfully went through ROC, without RFEs, who didn't send USCIS a 10lbs baby.

I totally agree with you!! I believe house and children together are the best and strongest support to show your binding relationship... However we don't have that, just a joint lease...

 

As for monthly statement of our checking, it shows our income direct deposit, also how we pay our credit cards through the account; plus it shows our monthly payment to our rent, etc. It just includes a lot of information about our financial bond as we don't have a lot to provide (no house, car, deed, etc.) In addition, as we have been living apart for 2 years and we travel a lot together, it would show a little more info about us.

 

I guess if we truly have a 10lbs baby, we don't need to worry about anything

received I-797 notification (1-year extension of GC)
On the actual receipt paper, Receipt Date was 06/20/2017;

On the envelope, postage date was 06/21/2017

 

July 10 2017

Received finger print appointment notification, and it was scheduled on 07/21/2017!! Very soon! 

On the actual letter, notice date was 06/30/2017, but on the envelope the postage date was 07/06. I think the letter was delayed because of July4th holiday.
