Hi guys,

I am getting ready for the interview at the embassy and I was wondering if my fiancee can send me a scanned version of the Affadavit or he has to mail it to me? Also, its okay for the supporting documents to be copies right?

Supporting documents should always be copies. You can carry the original with you to the embassy just in case they want to verify the copies to the originals.

 

As for scanned I-134, I'll let other people respond to that. I personally would only bring an original with wet signature. However, I've read some people have brought printed scanned I-134 and they didn't face any problem.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

Copies are fine for the petition but for the interview/visa you should have the originals with you. Also wet signature on the i-134.
