Perhaps someone has more information on this. My fiance will soon be hopefully be approved and moving here with her daughter from Russia. Her mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. Is there any type of visa and/or immigrant route to get her in the U.S at any point in the future ? And I dont mean just for 3 months at a time on a tourist B1 visa but a permanent basis. I see options for sons of lawful permanent residents but nothing for foreign parents. If anyone knows of a particular type of visa she would potentially qualify for then that would be greatly appreciated.

no,

your wife would have to be a US Citizen to file for her mom

the least amount of time she can become a USC is 3 years after she becomes a resident and removes conditions

several months of waiting until she becomes a USC and files for her mom, it can take close to 5 years or 5 years and it might depend on her state of mind and how severe is her dementia at that time, having to case for someone full time that doesn't even know you is extremely expensive and I don't even know if her case was extreme that she would be even able to assist an interview. like I said. there is nothing else for the time being

there is no other petition that can bring her here. another option is for you to move to her country if her mom is going to be an issue

Concurring what @aleful stated.

From start to finish it will be roughly 5 years before her mother would be able to migrate to the US. And that is if everything goes smoothly.
