Hi. I met my now wife in the US on my semester abroad last fall. Should I include my stay there under address history? It was only 5 months at most.

I believe you need to. That way there's no gap in between addresses. 5 months is a fair bit of time too.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Without stating the obvious, you need to list everywhere you have lived that was not considered a vacation. Safe to say that study abroad needs to be included in your address history.

Thanks for the quick response. A very basic thing I (almost) did not think of it seems!

However I own an apartment so for address history 1 I have put this, since 2011-now. As for Address history 2, I put the semester abroad address for 5 months. But should I add for address history 3 that I again moved back and lived in my apartment, or do you reckon it will be enough that my Address 1 says I lived here from 2011-til now, and then I can note on address history 2 that this my US stay was a Study abroad semester?

It should be enough and just clarify it in the additional information part. I had to add my study abroad address there anyway. How I did with the address that "conflicted" with my study abroad:

Address 5

bla bla bla

Date from 06/01/2013

Date to 01/18/2016

Address 6 while doing student exchange in Austria

blabla bla

Date from 02/17/2014

Date to 06/25/2014
