Hey everyone.

My fiance and I have had our I-129f packet together for a few days now, but my fiance is worried we don't have enough photos of us together in the packet.

Our decision to get engaged was mutual, and included no ring or proposal. So our packet is without that.  His grandmother was kind enough to give us her ring but we are waiting on a trip in the future where we will be seeing her to do so.

My fiance is also in the military so we have zero photos of us together with either of our families. Is this also going to be a problem?

For photos we have 12 photos of us, on different days and different clothing. Most of them are of us at home playing with the kitties or having movie nights, a few are of us out to eat.

For supporting evidence we have copies of my boarding passes from two different trips, photocopies of my stamps on my passport from those trips, and one receipt from the currency exchange in his state from one of those trips.

All and all does this sound like it will be enough to you? I know it's hard to say as some get approved with only a couple, and some get RFE'd wih even more.

Photos are secondary evidence. 5-6 usually is fine for the petition, unless dealing with a high fraud country perhaps. So you're good on that.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

02/03/2017 - Married

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

USCIS doesn't care to see a whole bunch of proof, they only want to see the little that's required. That means proof that you have met in person within the last two years. That includes copies of passpprt stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts etc. Absolutely no need to send 12 pics when you're not from a high fraud country, many only send 2. Send only what's necessary with the petition and take the rest of your evidence to the interview.

We just got our NOA2-approval. We submitted 5 pictures of us together for the initial i-129f packet. I also submitted a copy of my passport showing that i traveled to see him, along with hotel receipts and plane tickets. I also submitted a copy of our total skype calls, copy of number of messages sent back and forth on app, and copy of how many emails we have sent back & forth.

Boarding passes with photos and passport stamps?  More than most Canadians are able to provide.  You are fine.
