AOS - file with new name?

Hey guys,

I just wanted to confirm that AOS (after K1) must be filed with new name(after marriage) and not the maiden name. Correct?

Married name if that is what she intends to use after marriage. We even waited and filed for SSN in married name.

depends on what she wants to use on all other documents eg ID drivers licence ....if she wants to keep her maiden name put that..if she wants to change it to r her husbands then put the married name...

in other names used put her maiden name ...if she is going to use her married name

The only thing you want to avoid doing is book airline tickets in married name is passport is still in maiden name.

I'm using my married on airline tickets, coz' you don't need a passport flying in a different states here in the US. About flying out of the country I had my passport amended to the Phils. Consulate.

Use which ever name you want on your green card. Doesn't matter.

My wife uses her maiden name. We are somewhat lazy, and changing your name is not a trivial thing to do.

USCIS doesn't care as far as I know. The name you use does not make you any more or less married.
