Greetings!!

I'm all new to this forum and have spent the last week to 10 days just reading and absorbing as much information as possible.  Two things are unclear to me and I would much appreciate any assistance that can be given:

1)  Its been 2 weeks since received the NOA2. Now we are anxiously awaiting the NVC notification of petition receipt.  How did you receive notification - email or USPS (snail mail)?  Also, while you were waiting, did you start preparing your packet for the interview with the US Consulate so that you were ready when they scheduled your interview?

2) How in the HECK to I create a signature with our K-1 Visa progress (dates and all)?  I am so fascinated by the fancy, yet informative signature lines!!  I want to do it too!  For now, I'm cutting and pasting mine below.

Thanks for your input!  Looking forward to talking with many of you.

Thanks,

Pebbles & BamBam

Quick background: My paternal grandparents were both born on Andros Island, The Bahamas.  I've been going to Nassau all of my life.  It's where most of my paternal grandmother's family resides.  Ironic enough, I met a Bahamian man in Atlanta, GA, who is from Harbor Island.  We have talked every single day since then.  Now, we want to get married and reside in the US.

1) We're supposed to give them 30 days as per the NOA2. However, VJers been saying we can call within 2 weeks from the NOA2 date to ask for the case number. And I think the petitioner will receive a hardcopy letter. Yes, you can start prepping the packet for the embassy level but stuff that needs dating should wait closer to the interview.

2) Signature can be created or edited under the account settings :) Go to Menu > Account > Account settings > Signature.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Thank you so much!!  I will give them a call today...as it has been 16 days and I'm a bit anxious.  I feel like I'm wasting time since we have until 9/30/17 (NOA2 expiration date) to finish everything.

The option for "signature" only comes up after you make your first post.  I had been to that setting 100x!!  Now it appears once I made my first post...THANKS!!

Forgive me for asking, but do you have the 600 number handy to give me? If not, no biggie.  I can look for it.

Thanks!

It pays to use this forum.  I called and was told that they received our petition, assigned the NVC Case and Invoice #s as of 6/12/17.  My fiance should be hearing from them within the week and we can finally move forward with the next step.  Thanks again for your help!
